A very capable bench power supply for the money. The precision is spot on for my PCB repairs. My only minor gripe is that the cooling fan kicks in quite loudly when pulling near the full 10 amps, but it keeps the unit perfectly cool.
Far better than my old Korad unit. The form factor is surprisingly compact for a 10A supply, saving me valuable desk space. The output cut-off switch is something I didn't know I needed until I had it. Couldn't work without it now.
Excellent variable dc power supply. I use it primarily for mobile phone diagnostics and the low-current accuracy is impressive. The dials feel a bit light, but the fine adjustment makes it easy to hit exactly 4.2V every time.
Operation Guide
- Ensure the output button is in the 'OFF' position before connecting your device.
- Connect the unit to the mains using the supplied UK power cable and turn on the rear power switch.
- Use the coarse and fine adjustment knobs to set your desired voltage and current limits while monitoring the 4-digit LED display.
- Connect your test leads to the positive (red) and negative (black) terminals, and attach them to your circuit.
- Press the output button to deliver power to your circuit. The unit will automatically switch between Constant Voltage (CV) and Constant Current (CC) modes as required.
